Lovely work Stevan, I also love the work of John Blockley and Kurt Jackson, I must look up Michael Morgan as I am not familiar with his work.

Love your colours and distinctive style Stevan 👍

Beautiful painting Stevan.

Impressive and very different Stevan

Many thanks for the comments Barry, Linda, liezel and Susan. They are very much appreciated. Barry, if you visit the Pinterest site there is a massive amount of Michael Morgan art available to view. Steve

This is great piece! Love the abstract quality and sheer utter strength of the composition. Thanks, too, for the heads up on Michael Morgan will certainly be looking him up. Like Barry I love John Blockleys' innovative work.

Love the colours and the sense of what lies beneath the surface.

Many thanks Thalia, Maureen and Emma, it's great to get feedback. Enjoy Michael Morgan, he has left an indelible mark on water colour painting and I can't get enough of his work. Steve

Bold and beautiful Stevan! Although you have tamed the palette it still has power and drama.

Thanks Fionna. I was particularly pleased with it when I finished it last night and I remain positive about this picture, I'm also pleased its in the selection for March which is something I haven't achieved over the last couple of years.

Very beautiful a lovely translucency in your colours.

Lovely composition and colours, Stevan, I especially like the bold stonework in the bottom half.

Carole and Jenny, thanks for the good comments. I always think I've grabbed the interest when people comment beyond the general image and comment on the detail. Thanks again. Steve

Love the colours and composition, very atmospheric.

Appreciate your comments Sue

The elements of this largely abstract piece are from the area where I live. I've gone for less vibrant colors than my usual offerings to bring a more earthy or natural look to the composition which I like. I particularly like the way the foreground composition leads to the tree and the tree has an alternate curve to add interest. A bonus when I took the original picture was the fact that there was a pair of little owls in the tree which was a thrill.
