Many thanks Paul, Denise, Chris and Heather, if it wasn't for the enveloping method that I have learnt to use I wouldn't have got close to this.

Love the way you have accomplished this Denise. So very nostalgic and great little characters. Haven’t heard of the envelope method but whatever method you used has been very effective.

Beautifully drawn, Denise and a charming picture! I haven't heard of this method - sounds interesting. ( I seem to remember I had a pixie hood like that in the 1940s!)

Pixie hoods, balaclavas, wellies, darned socks and pants with patches (we had snake belts and baseball boots too). Oh, the memories you invoke Denise. Lovely.
