A lovely composition Paul nicely done indeed.

This is a very arresting watercolour Paul, because of the lovely houses with their red roofs and the rolling countryside behind them

A beauty 😍

Chris Carole and Faye thank you for your kind comments.

A great location to paint, nice one Paul.

Andrew and Spencer thank you for your kind comments.

Nicely done Paul 😊

Nice work Dixie.

A scene of peace and harmony Dixie. I think that the trees you paint are as important to you as the houses and church and that shows here.

Very nicely done

Stephen , Lew , Tessa and Dave thank you for your comments I really appreciate you taking the time to look and ad a comment. As Hughenden is the area office for the National Trust Rangers , I often went there to pick up equipment or for meetings. When looking at the painting the Manor House I’d behind the viewer set woodland , I hold the painting workshops in the Manor House.

You have captured the scene nicely Paul.

That's a complex composition Paul and you have handled it very well.

A lovely composition, very nice Paul.

I really like your village scenes Dixie! One would like to live there, it looks so beautiful.

Thank you Mark and Tanja it is a beautiful place, sadly two mile down the road it’s not so scenic.

A4 watercolour from a photo taken in early spring before the beech trees were in leaf . Looking down from the Manor into the bottom of the valley with the valley rising behind the church. Disraeli is buried here between his wife and lady benefactor / friend . The pink blossom of the cherry trees near the entrance stand out.
