That’s lovely Dixie! You’ve captured the scene beautifully, even the cows in the field. It’s such a pretty little village, not far from us, but sadly out of reach at present.

Thanks Tessa, it’s one of my favourite places, we stayed in the hotel there a few years back it was excellent. The photo I used was taken then, the belties were from a different photo but I thought they would add a lot too the finished painting. I’m looking forward to visiting the area again when we can.

That’s really a good paintwork and captures the essence of the place.. the painting communicates even before reading your narrative.. so beautiful!

Nicely portrayed Paul, lots of work gone into this, well done!!

Thank you Heather, Nandhini, Linda D and LindaW, for you very kind comments. It the first painting I have really enjoyed doing for a few weeks and one I’ve wanted to do for a while.

Very good Dixie, I remember visiting there many years ago, it is a lovely spot.

That's great, Dixie. You've really made use of the elongated format.
