This is a really exciting project Diana I love it.

Thank you Elaine. It’s for my husband who spends all hours possible on that beach. I can’t get down to it so sketch from the cliffs and use his images

I like this very much. The eye bounces all over the place. It is quite otherworldly in a way. Lovely lines both straight and curvy.

Terrific painting, Diana, so unusual

Geologically fascinating Diana and a great challenge to paint.

Wow Diana.

Wonderful painting again, Diana. I like the low perspective focused on the reflections and the sand textures.

Wow, Diana, such a fascinating angle and composition. What a challenge, and it is almost done I think.

Been watching it all with interest Diana, still am.

Hello Karyn and thank you very much. I didn’t pay much attention to composition or focal points with this one , in fact with most of my paintings so hope the eye is taken to the strong contrast of the rocks meeting water at the back. Thank you Maureen, it’s a bit like one of those magic images where the sand in the foreground could be raised or dipped. Thank you Carole. I’d love to be able to get down to the beach but it’s not possible. I often sit on the cliffs and draw I see dolphins and basking sharks as well as beautiful birds of prey Thank you very much Shirley and Tessa, your comments are very much appreciated. Morning Cesare. My husband took the image from the sea with a waterproof camera. I like that semi abstract look Morning Jim. Thank you. It’s good to look through the gallery most days though there’s not always time to writ comments.

Love the abstracted shapes here, Diana, superb work!

What a challenge Diana, I have every confidence that you will master it. Looks terrific so far.

Lovely palette, Diana. Congratulations on your paintings featured in "The Art of Watercolour" magazine. They are fabulous!!. You are on a roll, so keep going!

Thank you Thalia. The shapes of the reflections are wonderfully abstract on the photos too. Thank you Fiona. I’ve had a finishing off day today which is very satisfying Thank you Jennifer. I’ve had an amazing couple of years. I could die today a very contented lady.
