Well it's lovely Derek..

Another successful work, Derek! Credit cards are even better than brushes! Cheers!

Yes, it is lovely Derek, with the bright blue in the sky against the warm landscape.

Derek, I just can't believe what you can achieve with credit cards, great work!

Cheers Carole, Ivan, Marjorie and David. I will try and find the original somehow and title it properly, but it is one of his but can't match his colours. Quicky this morning, bout 30mins.

I think the master is somone called Snowdon - this makes a really interesting painting with good design and palette.

Cheers Michael LOL

Magical stuff Derek, really interesting.

You have managed to give a Vincent feel too Derek. Terrific

Have I, blimey a real bogoff job, thans dennis

Lively work Derek, I must admit I thought it had a Van Gogh feel to it too.

Magic sky Derek, great job!

Wonderfull rich textured painting

Lovely free work Derek. Keep going!

Wow there is enough energy in this to mentally run a marathon, a really vibrant piece Derek, like others I see shades of Van Gogh, the colours you have used are so right with your eye catching that flash of white on the bottom right then traveling left along the line to the bush and then cloud, well my eyes did. Main point being after all that rambling I think it's great.

Thanks Stephen, Fiona, David, Julie and Malcolm. Kind words indeed. <br />Is the considered opinion a version of a Van Gogh or a Monet

I would personally say leaning towards Van Gogh Derek, I am not an art buff or knowlegable but did recently by a small book on the man and in it is a painting called &#39;Cypruss in a wheatfield&#39; or something like that, the book is downstaires and I am to idle to go and get it, but it does remind me of that, also I think Monet is the &#39;smoother of the two painters, but what do I know, I paint mountains. and whoever it looks like it is still a cracker.

Very lively piece, Derek. Nicely done.

Cheers Malcolm and Seok

27 x 20cms on tinted Gessoed paper, using only credit cards. Can't remember the master's title.

About the Artist
Derek Snowdon

Eleventyeight as my hashing pals called my new age recently, it's supposed to sound better. Trying to paint every day in acrylics using only expired credit/debit cards, and partially succeeding as they're only for me and not show these days.
