Scorching Derek.

Thanks Kal, I should have cropped it better.

Yes Derek lovely feeling of distance into the smoky fiery furnace. Poor trees hope it wasn't a dropped fag

By the way Derek why don't you reward your self with a couple of palette knives

Thanks dennis and have got about 5.

Hi Derek well you could say cool and warm shades next to each other, shows what can be done with limited colours very nice!! and we both used our credit cards!!:)Linda

Yes they do compliment in a way with the cool and hot.

Nice hot tones Derek!

You're on fire with these Derek! Can't think of a better way to use a credit card.

Well and artistically put thanks Fiona

A scorcher, Derek! Really superb work, you can really feel the energy of the leaping flames.

Thanks Seok, I stayed close to the photo ref.

Using a Nat.Geo.book I was given on my 75th b/day, on 30 x 40cm mountboard primed with gesso and cad orange. Various stages through this morning. I think I have finished it. Brushes initiallly then the credit cards came into play. It is the largest I have done for a while. C&C very welcome. I posted a WIP on this in 4 stages on the Wet Canvas website too. Will be interesting to see what they say, very international bunch. Sorry Linda, didn't know this would appear next to your forest scene.

Eleventyeight as my hashing pals called my new age recently, it's supposed to sound better. Trying to paint every day in acrylics using only expired credit/debit cards, and partially succeeding as they're only for me and not show these days.
