Looks almost like a winter snowscape, Derek. I really like it, it looks like everyone is scurrying home to settle by a cozy fire. There's a story to this painting.

Lovely loose interpretation and I like the dark on sky. The figures are all doing interesting things which adds to the drama of the painting. I think you've got this one just right now!

Thanks Carole, Seok, Thea, Gudrun. <br />It is quite a usual scene as we run all through the year in the area, in all weathers.<br />Yes she might take all 3.<br />My wife has doubt on their thoughts about the figures, thinking the client does appreciate realistic work and know my previous stuff, but I think and hope she&#39;s wrong.

Thanks Jennifer and dennis. They don&#39;t try to get out of rain, we run in whatever weather through the year, if there is a river, stream or pond, we run through it not round it.
