This is a copy! I came across this ink and wash painting on line and I was amazed at the quality of the image captured by the artist. They say that you can learn by copying the masters and as my most favoured medium is surely ink and wash, I thought I’d have a go. I used a fude pen and my usual palette of watercolours dulling down the tone with liberal neutral tint washes. It’s not a patch on the original but it pleases me.
