Yes, I guess that there is a big difference between the two postings I made. But there was thirty years between me painting one and drawing the other. But as a matter of fact, it was on that week with Edward Wesson that I first became hooked on Ink and wash. Ted demonstrated both! However he, a bit of a showman he was, kept his eager pupils entertained, he cut a twig from a nearby hedge and used that. I still use a stick on my larger pen and ink paintings but I prefer to use a technical pen with waterproof ink on the smaller pictures - not as much risk of accidents and I don't need three hands!!!

Lovely painting, muted colours and then there's that red coat! Perfect!
