Lovely capturing of this sea front Denis, love how you have handled the complicated mix of buildings crammed into that part of the front that is clearly visible to you, lovely sky and great work on the stretch of beach as well

On a lovely day, this is one of my favourite locations for plein air painting. The concrete wall which retains the shingle is just at the right height on which to sit and paint. From where I painted this view the wall turns out towards the sea and you get a great view of the variety of architecture. Mind you, around lunchtime the wall is also used by customers of the nearby fish and chip shop! I have no objections to sharing the location with others but fish and chips attract seagulls and they in turn tend to deposit natural waste where it ain't wanted! No such problems on this day.
