I'm glad you've cracked the problem Debs. This one is lovely, especially with the quiet white spaces. The touches of yellow really make it sparkle. Will you be re-posting your last posting, I'd love to see it without the blurs.

Thanks for your lovely comment Fiona. Yes I will re-post the other one tomorrow, I took the picture today and it's so much clearer, thank goodness, I was starting to panic because it's a new camera, and you know what they say about bad workmen!! lol

Love it, Debs!! You've done an amazing job and the painting sparkles with light and colour. Love your dome - superb work.

Well thank you Thea, you've made my day!

I admire you tackling buildings, love the colours and it is a lovely painting

Thanks Glennis, always good to get feedback!

Just enough detail to make for a really nice painting Debs. The dome's shape is excellent with the light shining on it. It looks solid despite it being in pale colours. From experience, I know that isn't easy. My buildings are always too dark and usually lean badly to one side (lol) No room for mistakes when you paint in this way are there? It's super!!

Ah - my medium and you have done it such justice - a real winner Debs

Thanks Louise, yes you are right, no mistakes [ unless they happen to be lucky ones] when you paint this way, that's what makes Charles Reid so fascinating!

Thank you Michael for such a generous comment from a fellow WC !!

Hey Debs this is brilliant, beautiful work.

Thanks a lot Carole, still can't post a pic on AF !

Beautifully done, Debs! I like it a lot!

Thanks Seok, only just seen your post!

Hi Debs love this piece, love the shadowing around the dome and the delicate sky, enjoyed the rest of your gallery as well and thnaks for th commnts on Audrey!

You're welcome Chris, and thanks for looking at my gallery and taking time out to leave a comment- much appreciated!!

Hey Debs love this watercolour and also love your great comment on my spring lamb pastel pet portrait, especially the bit about you can't eat lamb yourself because of how cute they are, I would like to say that but unfortunately I love my food too much!, Very much appreciate your comment thanks so much for having a look and leaving that comment, unfortunately like Thea I got caught up with the after effects of the latest multiple poster and this one has unbelievably had people leaving complimentary comments on her work so despite the critical mutterings of Thea, myself, and someone else, the woman concerned probably going to do sod all about it even though she has posted 12 yes 12 paintings today!!!

Still learning lots from Charles Reid's Watercolour secrets book, thank the lord I've found out why my posts haven't been as sharply in focus as they should be - all to do with camera angles would you believe!
