It's sizzling!! a hot watercolour!

Lovely colours and the centre of the flower has the appearance of the iris of an eye. It's striking!

Really lovely Debs. I like the sunflower so natural looking, I also like that bacjground with the sky holes and impression of branches in it.

Hi Debs, it is indeed sizzling and out with your gorgeous Sunflower!

Just right. I also feel it flowing like a sea anemone. Don't ask me why I thought of that, but it works for me!

Nice one Debs - keep those brushes going.

The first thing that struck me about this painting was the movement Debs. Like Gudrun it reminds me of something being moved by watery currents. Perhaps the influence of all the watering you've been doing!!!

Thank you Jane, Christine, Carole,Ros, Gudrun Michael and Fiona! Thank you for such great comments, I'm glad you thought it looked hot as that was the impression I was trying to give and the 'flow' of the picture, perhaps I should do a Sea Anemone next!!

Go on then Debs- can't wait! ;o))

Really like the energy and vibrancy of this one, Debs. Love the way you have done the centre - super darks and also like your dynamic background. A different subject for you and one that has worked really well.

Hi Debs great to see your super vibrant sunflower, this will be your entry in the latest group challenge for the macro works eh! It is really stunning, and of course that lovely change of direction for you hat seems to happen to all of us who start to use pmp as well, great fun isn't it! And thanks so much for your lovely moment on my latest pastel portrait 'Angel' of Viacheslav's gorgeous little son at 2 yrs old, he was such a cutie in that photo could not resist having a go bye for now Debs xxx

This is wonderful. i love the fluidity of it.

Thanks Thea Ros and Dawn, it's so good to get positive feedback!

Hey Debs I just saw your comment on Gudrun's portrait of a child she has been fiddling with a bit, when you said u couldn't comment yesterday, well from late yesterday afternoon until about 2pm today whenever I tried to get on here to comment all I got was internal server error, so las night I went into the online po forum and started a thread saying I could not get onto the site, got no replies so thought it was our Internet playing up, until I saw your comment saying you could not comment yesterday so something was obviously amiss, few other people were still posting new work last night!

This is stunning, Debs! I love the vibrant palette and the way you rendered the petals - the flower looks like it's dancing!

Thank you so much Seok - you've really made my day!!!

Haven't posted for a while, too hot and the garden seems to be taking what spare time I have at the moment [ and that's just to keep it watered!] So I thought this would be appropriate, based on a photo from PMP site by the photographer Hans Kalkman.
