Early Morning Shadows
During the virus lockdown, I’m lucky enough to have a garden, so I can still “paint outdoors” but it’s not the same as being in my favourite empty landscapes. This was painted from the masses of photos I’ve collected during sketching and painting walks in the Peak District. The shadows of the snow poles made a natural lead in line to the barn.
