Thank you all, glad it evokes those responses in you. I did this quickly, inspired after returning from a couple of days walking among these scenes. If I did it again, I would make the rock face deeper and bring its centre forward to represent a circular knoll. I think that would be more typical, and I would also add an extra tree, as "they" say there should always be an odd number of such features for a better composition.
