Another lovely watercolour David.

Two beautiful watercolours David. Well done.

Thank you both for your comments. I much prefer to paint on the spot, or at least the next day at home, while I can still remember the feeling of "being there". Sometimes, though, a misty morning like we had this week will prompt a memory. Then I'll dig out an old sketch book to find the scene I'm reminded of, and paint from that.

Autumn to me is the season of cool blues and warm yellows, and an early morning scene like this just begs to be painted.
