I love the simplicity of this - "less is more...................difficult"

Thanks for your kind comment, Teddi. This only took 40 minutes, and most of that was drying time.<br />The two washes for the sky, and another two for the foreground moor went in together, then a wait for those to dry, then the distant hills, more drying time, and finally the crisp central line of details.

I live near flash,you have captured its bleak beauty very well.

This is an attempt to capture that transitory light you see on the moors between the sun and rain. Flash is a remote village high up in the Staffordshire Moorlands.
