The Fallen Birch, Princes Woods by David Whitehead
Not great art but a satisfying result in challenging conditions. Last Tuesday's outdoor painting session was the coldest and windiest since Easter. So windy in fact that my pal gave up after his easel was blown over for the fourth time. My sturdy Potter easel never wobbled though and I think this result from an hour's struggle with the elements is better than I anticipated.
