Nicely painted David.

Thanks, Stephen. I don't normally include wildlife in my paintings of empty places, but these buzzards were there on my last walk so I painted this more as a memento for myself. I was pleasantly surprised at the result, so decided to earmark it for exhibition with "Cage Birds" as the jokey title.

The Cage is a dramatic local hilltop feature in Lyme Park. After reading recent letters in Leisure Painter about boring titles not selling, I think I’ll change the title for our next local exhibition to “Cage Birds”!
