Really like the sketch and the colours chosen

Great to see the ink drawing and the final image. Printing on cartridge paper is something I've never tried. I've had doubts whether the printed ink would run when the colour washes were applied...seems just fine here. Thanks for sharing the info.

I like the print with these colours.

This I particularly good, the colours are great and has moody atmosphere.

Thank you all for those supportive comments, glad you like it. The colours are just ultramarine, raw & burnt siennas. Try it, Lewis, use the heaviest paper your printer will accept, I use 160gsm. Depending on makers, the ink does bleed slightly on some papers, but printing at draft quality minimises this. The purpose of colour trials is to experiment, not to publish or sell, and the only reason I put them on the POL gallery is to spread the word about a technique which isn’t well known. As a blatant plug, there is a whole section on how to do it in my book A Painters Dozen!

My first colour trial on a printed copy of my ink sketch, trying complementaries of purple and yellow.
