I've just returned from a great trip to Suffolk where I find outdoor painting so satisfying. This picture has already been bought by a neighbour who recently visited Southwold for the first time and fell in love with the area. As her highlight had been a cycle ride along Southwold Harbour, over the Blyth and back into Walberswick, this view brought it all back for her. Selling in those circumstances doubles the original pleasure of painting it on site.
