Leaving the Orwell, Early Morning
Thames Barges are one of my favourite subjects and I should spend more time painting them. Their bulk and majesty, sailing, moored or beached, never cease to appeal. In preparation for an imminent trip to the Suffolk coast I dug out some old sketches & photos to paint from to get myself in the mood.
