Thames Barge on the Mud
I think Thames Barges look even better on the mud than afloat. Their flat bottoms make them look perfectly at home there, more so than boats with keels at their "falling over" angles. I also think the distinctive red-brown sails look better in a picture when they're furled. Last to go in my paintings of Thames Barges is the bob flag, with just a flick of cadmium red.
