Thank you both, glad you like them. Your "beautifully painted" comment is very generous, Margaret. I tend to save my considered treatments for "proper" watercolours and love doing these rapid pen & wash trials in a comparatively slap-dash way. I have no expectations of them, they cause no stress, and, because the ink drawing is already done they can be done very quickly, I often do 3 or 4 during a 2 hour art group meeting and still have time for coffee and chat!
