In my opinion, the balance of your composition is ok. I also like your limited use of colour. Beaytiful.

Hi lovely composition, the only thing I would say is that the sail is a little too large for the size of the boat, it would make it top heavy and topple over. I lived on a boat on the broads for five years so do have a little idea about the size of boats compared to masts and sails. A lovely painting none the less.

Thanks for the comments folk, I did say my knowledge of dinghies was limited, I think I'll claim artistic licence on this one.

More conventionally painted than your usual work. The water is excellent and to me your dinghy looks fine - but I know nothing about them. Great movement as well.
