Lovely shapes and skin tones David. I think you should show this to your friend and then ask her to sit for you, she could very well say yes.

Quite a bombshell indeed! You have done her justice with an excellent drawing. Such skill! The tones of the fabric of her thingummy (neglige?) that she is wearing are superb. D

A3 pencil of a friend of mine who is quite a bombshell. I have been continuing with my life drawing classes but this one was from a photo...I liked the strong dark and light contrast and the quality of the satin. I would have liked to draw it from life but I think it would be tricky to get her to sit for me.

Inspired by an artist friend I came back to paint a bit at the end of 2017. At the moment I am enjoying it and maybe because I have the patience to look more than I once did I am finding it easier and more enjoyable to actually produce a likeness.
