That is a beautiful watercolour! Love the way you have painted the trees.

A cracking watercolour landscape. The strong shadow in the foreground works a treat.

I like it very much as it is , the foreground shadows suggest the viewer is standing under trees, this adds to the feel of being in the scene. Is a beautiful painting David , I do admire your style and the quality of your work.

This is a beauty . I'd keep it as is, the shadow in the foreground works particularly well for me

Ah, thank you David`s Paul and Heather, its always useful to get other trained eyes/Artists for their opinion.

A super watercolour, David. The strong shadow in the foreground gives a lot of depth to the whole scenery.

I decided to leave out the bushes on the left foreground of the sketch as i did not want them to detract from the main centre of interest. The trees to the left of the barn are actually there.

Did anyone spot the figure in the barn!!!!!??

Your sketch turned into a beautiful painting!

Thank you everyone for your very kind comments.

Nice simple watercolour. Very pleasing to the eye.

A beautiful example of watercolour David……marvellous!

Watercolour 16" x 12" Emsworthy Mire is owned by Devon Wildlife Trust and this barn are what's left of the ruins of a moorland farm, abandoned since the 1870s. I think i will strengthen the mid distant tree lined sloping field. Not sure about the foreground shadow.......is it to strong? Comments would be appreciated please.
