Thank you Stephen,Dixie, Heather and Mia. Yes my colours were: FU, Cad Y, Light Red and the roofs- cobalt B light+ Raw Umber a good colour for slates that are grey. The red door was Cad R.

Hang on Studio Wall

Watercolour 20" x 16" I first noticed and saw this cottage after seeing a video by David Bellamy who painted it as a snow scene. He painted it from a different position to my sketch and painting. David climbed up to get closer to the cottage. I painted it from just over a dry stone wall next to the main A4086. Luckily there was a layby very close by. I sat next to a river, it was a lovely day as Liz and i sketched this lovely scene. This painting was done from my sketch.
