Just four colours used, Cobalt blue, Brown Madder, Raw Sienna = Sky, then same colours + Light Red for the rest. Limited palettes can often work well. Happy New Year everyone.

7" x 5" watercolour. This is a simple small card i painted for family over Christmas from a photograph taken a week or so ago. It was the colourful sky against a bleak landscape that captured my painting juices and got my fingers twitching with anticipation. I am sure you have all felt this from time to time!!!!
