Sky: In order of application -- Raw Sienna, touch of light red ,Cobalt Blue then Clouds French Ultra + Brown Madder. Other colour used is Lemon Yellow, the greens were a mix of FU + LY + LR

watercolour 29" x 10" sometimes a scene might look better with a long format. i felt this scene was one of those. I wanted to throw all the emphisis onto Hound Tor and the light behind it, so I glazed light red infront of it and painted detail on the Tor and reduced the light in the sky left and right. If you squint at the painting its like looking at the painting through a keyhole and shows up the light and Tor.
