„View Through The Arch“
Skomar, Pembrokeshire, Wales, UK. Watercolour 76x56cm on Arches 300g rough. The famous artist David Bellamy - a good friend of us - is responsible that I started painting watercolours. He discovered this particular view and sketched and painter it several times. David described in detail how to find this special location, when we visited him and his wife Jenny Keal - a fantastic artist in pastel - in early May this year. I want to dedicate my version of the “view through the arch” to David, one of my great idols in watercolour painting.
