My portrait showes "Jupp" , a very special person from my home town.Jupp died already, but he was a highly respected expert in literature and art. He visited every day a special Cafe and was reading the newspaper, smoked and enjoyed his Espresso! The challenge of this portrait was to paint from a black and white photo , but capture the mood he was in, which was so typical for Jupp.
