A New Day in Osaka
Japan. 76x56cm, Watercolour on Arches rough, 300g. When I’m in Japan I always need some days to adjust to the time difference. I woke up around five in the morning and looked outside my hotel window. The vibrant metropolis was still a sleep, but the first sunlight glimpsed through the heavy rainclouds. It couldn’t resist to sketch the scenery and create a painting when I was back home.
