Lovely painting - Rudbekias are great flowers for providing late summer colour in the border - although you will be able to enjoy this one right into the depth of winter - that's the joy of art!

this is really excellent Christine :-) wish my flowers could look this good :-) i have to stick with photos of the subject because of my awful allergies :-p it is so delicate and realistic :-)

Thank you all very much. I really enjoyed painting this one. As the flowers lasted so well when picked it completely took the pressure off doing it quickly.

I can recommend this flower for painting. I have had it stood in wet oasis for several days now with no wilting whatever. That is a godsend for me as it takes me a long while to paint anything!
