Beautiful shades of green and painted beautifully. Glad you mentioned the snails Christine I'm having the same trouble with them!

Don't mention SNAILS!!!!! When dusk falls I can see a panza division of them marching across the lawn straight to my beloved Hosta's! The score at the moment is snails 1 Fiona 0. But your Hosta is blemish free and beautiful Christine.

Thank you all for your comments. I have to confess, this hosta lives in a pot surrounded by gravel and then sunk into the border. It does seem to deter slugs and snails effectively!

These leaves are so architectural, you can't help but admire them. Luckily I got to them before the slugs did! I tried to make the backs of the leaves slightly bluer to show a good contrast, but it hasn't worked as well as I'd hoped.
