Very delicate painting Christine, I usually try and find the shadow colours to bring out the form of the petals or put a little colour behind the white petals. They are difficult and challenging but well worth the effort.

You have pulled this off very well, just enough colour to bring it out.

Thank you for your comments, I will persevere. It is easy to make a white flower look 'dirty' with the shadows - I think perhaps a dark background would help.
