Inspired by looking through all the art here the last few days, I aimed to have another try of Velma in the style of another artist. This was my first bash at the great Spanish artist (one of many!), Joaquin Sorolla (1863-1923). His approach to waves seemed to really depend on whether he was going for distance scenes or more medium close-up perspective. I enjoyed this, though. Sorolla has much to teach me!
