I was chatting with a friend at work the other evening and she prompted me to explore the work of illustrator and fine artist, Oliver Jeffers MBE (b. 1977). I'd seen his work, but not known who he was. His art has a deceptive quality to it - it looks easy to emulate. But, like all things, there's more to it than meets the eye! I enjoyed working in his style. It was interesting to try out a watercolour approach. As always, thanks to those who stop by here to check out my Velmas. :)
