I really like this painting Charles, great composition and beautifully painted

Another good one Charles, the tones and composition are, as always up to your usual high standards, like this painting very much.

A magnificent jumble of twigs and branches and painted really well. It would have been so easy to overdo it, but you didn't. Good work Charles.

Love the tangled effect of all the branches and foliage, super composition.

No less than brilliant - with or without the perishing arthritis. In terms of sheer painterly skill, this has got to be one of your best acrylics.

So many branches and such detail, lovely painting Charles

There is alot of hard work in this. Very nicely done.

Fabulous tree Charles, love the criss cross of branches.

I really like this Charles, I think it is quite unusual and I love the minimal colours. A real beauty well done.

Like this painting Charles. Never painted Acrylics on Bockingford myself. Really love the colours.

This one caught my eye. Love the textures.

Charles, I am running out of superlatives. This is absolutely stunning! You've so captured the magnificent scale of the tree. Your paintings always make me want to visit the location!

Painted on Bockingford 250lb not -- 12"x 8"--- In some parts of the White Peak area of Derbyshire the topsoil is very thin and these trees have to exsist by growing on top of the limestone. They grow only to a small height and very often take on the same colour as the limestone, very often producing off shoots from the base.---- Painted from a photo I took last Sunday ( March 11th very sunny and 19 degrees )
