You've made a fabulous job of it. Every bit of this is good, but the foreground is fabulous - very, very skilfully done, and a lovely sense of depth. Surprising how many of us are nervous of painting green - clearly you don't need to be at all - given there are dozens of ways of doing it.

This is really superb, Charles. The foreground is exceptionally well done - the irregularity of the of leaf shapes and the bushes, and their contrast against the trees. It's lovely.

They all said it better than I could in English. Charles, this is just magnificent!

I will never tire of paintings of Derbyshire Charles this one is no exception. Your greens are gorgeous.

Painted on bockingford 250lb rough --- I am afraid its Derbyshire again. ---Trying to improve my greens, afterall this little island of ours is mainly green and I love to paint that colour GREEN. Do not always make a good job of it {but I am trying}
