Makes a very pleasant change to see greenery again in amongst all of the snow scenes, lovely as they are. This reminds me that this miserable cold weather won't last forever and has cheered me up. Shame this part of Sherwood no longer exists but at least it will live on in your painting.

Beautiful painting Charles, with a hint of sadness because of the loss of such a beauty spot.....replaced by concrete. There is still a lot of Sherwood forest left to admire and Clumber park just next door as well.......for the moment anyway!!
