Your colours are lovely Carol, spot on. But may I just ask why you have drawn a line in the fore ground bluebells begin/ bluebells finish? That's not how they grow. Being uncultivated they meander and grow in irregular shapes. I think what you are portraying s is longer grass? so it gives this cut off look.. your trees and colours are lovely, so its a shame to make nature into a formal garden.

Thank you Sylvia for taking the time to comment. I take your point about the bluebells begin/finish and accept what you are saying. Your comment on the colours is very reassuring as I thought it was all a bit too vivid and needed that feedback. Thank you.

nice to see a spring painting! getting a bit tired of snow scenes :-) lovely

An exercise from the book by Gwen Scott, using colours I've not tried before. 10 X 7 inches on rough practice paper. First painting photographed with new digital camera and resized to reduce file size. Hope it worked. Comments would be very welcome.
