This is very pleasing to the eye. I especially love the stonework on the bridge :)

Really like the use of earthy colours Carol and I agree with Sarah, the stone work in the bridge stands out well.

Thank you Sarah and Fiona for your kind comments. The initial set of pencils I was given were only "earthy" colours but I subsequently bought the whole range. On looking for these original pictures, which predate my attempts at watercolour,I realised that working in such detail with the pencils is probably what influenced me to attempt such detailed watercolour -no looseness at all.
