Oops Carole I missed this the first time! It’s really lovely. The colours are stunning and the dark background shows the fruit off really well.

beautiful bold colours Carole, so effective on a dark background.

You've achieved great form in these pomegranates Carole. I admire artists who use soft pastel - something I still haven't got my head around and always end up in a mess!

Beautiful pastel work Carole, love your choice of colours!

Excellent painting.!

10” x 12” soft pastels and pastel pencils. I painted this from our neighbour’s garden in Spain. It was originally painted in watercolour but this medium is always a big challenge for me, so I had another go using pastels, a medium I seem to be able to find easier as it’s more controllable.
