That's a powerful painting Carole, really well done.

Wow, love the painting and the name is so appropriate.

Such a so much appropriate title Carole, lovely dramatic scene and painting of those waves crashing on those rocks, love it.

This is almost biblical, Carole. Fabulously painted, full of foreboding. Great work.

Good one Carole

Well it’s quite a romantic landscape, all the elements are present and beautifully composed and painted. Top quality Carole.

Great painting, Carole - the boat (and the bird) really add to the drama.

Thank you everyone for your continued, much appreciated support. Hopefully, everyone will do their best to keep up the social distancing and help those brave NHS souls and all the other people who are exposed to danger, in order to keep us fed and protected. Happy Easter to you all and wishing you a safe, comfortable week end.

Dramatic painting and great lighting.

Good composition and the bird is an excellent touch, bringing the eye back to the beginning again.

Many thanks Stephen and William for taking time to look and your generous comments.

Absolutely stunning...so very powerful a statement, Carole! So appropriate

Terrific painting Carole with tremendous power and drama, and I love the depth of colour and tone. Is this Cornwall?

Thank you Thalia and Tessa for your lovely words. No Tessa it isn’t Cornwall. It’s in Northumberland at the bottom of my street, where the North Sea rages at this time of the year.

Fabulous painting Carole! You have really aced it..

One of my favourite subjects! Can't beat a beautiful stormy sea. This is wonderful Carole, so dramatic

Acrylic on canvas 20” x 18”. This is a typical scene around the corner from where I live. Ventured out for a walk last week and watched the huge waves battering the rocks. Painted this at home, having taken reference photos. The boat in the background was added for dramatic effect.
