Stunning colours Carole.

Agree, such vibrant colours Carole

A beautifully dramatic setting for that special tree, Carole! Sad to lose it.

What wonderful colours, Carole!!

Nicely done with excellent colours .

Great colours and sky Carole and a lovely tribute to an iconic piece of nature.

Poignant and good

Just lovely Carole.

An act of vandalism no less! Nicely represented here Carole..

Well done Carole.

Agree with Heather, very poignant, and very well done.

Thank you so much everyone for all your lovely comments. You are all so very kind. A little lacking in colour for me but it was painted with rather a sombre heart, so I didn’t feel inclined to be colourful.

Magical lights Carole, the grasses in the foreground bring the sense to life.

Beautifully recorded Carole, love the sky.

I like this Carole, well done!

Thank you so much John, Fiona and Peter for such positive comments. Much appreciated.

I was lucky to be on holiday there just months before it was cut down so this is very poignant, as well as a beautiful painting dear Carole! xxx

Great atmosphere Carole, sad it’s gone.

A keen hiker many moons ago, this was a frequent place to visit. From my old photos, somewhat manipulated. Soft pastels on pastelmat, 10” x 12”.
