That is very good indeed, Carole!!

Super work.

A striking image.

The rich vibrant colour makes you almost feel the warmth of the location, super Carole.

Excellent artwork Carole.

I like the composition Carole and you get really good results with the oil pastels despite your problems.

Thank you so much for all your lovely comments David, Paul, Spencer, Chris, Tess, Collette, Stephen and Sarah. Very much appreciated.

A great composition Carole and the colours suggest the climate so well. A super painting with oil pastels.

Lovely painting, as always, dear Carole, and story that grabs the viewer's attention! Love and God bless, my friend xxx

Very good Carole, worth your struggle

This is brilliant Carole. Lovely tones and really well captured.

Missed this one, like it.

A big thank you to Christine, Sandra, Coral, Andrew, Heather, David and Valerie, for all your support and encouragement, whi Ch is very much appreciated.

Despite your struggle with materials you’ve done a super painting Carol, and love the rich ochres against that blue sky.

Thank you so much Fiona. The scene reminds me of lovely, warm days I used to spend on a farm full of palms, orange and lemon trees.

Fabulous Carole - great subject and beautifully painted. I agree about the papers/board for pastel work.

Thank you Shaun for your encouragement and lovely comments. Sometimes it’s just not worth trying to make do with unsuitable materials.

Lovely painting Carole.

From a memory of my time spent in North Africa. Taken from an old travel photo. This was done on Daler Rowney pastel paper 140 gsm. The paper was too thin and I struggled to lay down the oil pastels. Used polychromes pencils for the details. I’ll stick to canvas boards and pastelmat in the future. 12” x 16”.
