I really thought twice about posting this as it was painted in such haste and I do realise that it is extremely naive. I’m also not keen on painting from images other than those I have created, as I find it very restrictive. I suppose we learn something from every work we create and I certainly won’t be attempting images other than my own, in the future. Take care all of you and enjoy a painterly summer.

An image taken from Pinterest to practise using water soluble oils. It’s very rough and ready but it was fun to paint. Used Munygo water soluble pastels mainly for the background, along with ordinary Gallery oil pastels and a couple of prisma pencils. 10” x 8”.
