Nice artwork Carole, I'd be interested to know how long it took you as I have just started to dabble with pastels recently

Thank you for your lovely comment Trevor. I do work rather quickly. This took me between two and a half to three hours as I had a bit of difficulty with the fur. Do persevere with pastels Trevor as it’s a very expressive medium and using pastel pencils for details really helps. I use Clairfontaine pastel at as a surface as there is much less dust and a greater pastel adherence.

Gigi is beautiful, I bet your grandson is thrilled with this portrait.
