After an extremely turbulent time I am once again delighted to be able to submit a painting to this wonderful site and hope you enjoy it. It is of Great Rissington,....yes in JFW land and I now have the good fortune to live in the village so that's a real shot in the arm for me. I have lost a father and a wife in the last 18 months but now in the last 2 months dusted off the sketch books and pencils, and this is, I hope, the first of many a "Fresh" painting to come. I thought this street scene had a nice balance to it, oh and by the way my cottage is the one with the stone wall that looks like a green feather boa!!! Archers Aquarelle 90lbs (That's all I had available but Ken B will sort that shortly!!)
